I LOVE DESMOND!
Desmond is cute, cuddly, and fantastic.
He feels like a brother but nice.
He’s silent like the wind,
and he’s my friend!
Note: I have no idea why she thinks brothers aren’t nice. Her words, not mine.
UPDATE: I finally got an explanation of the brother line. She considers our male dog, Jasper, her brother. While he is nice, he can be a rather annoying pain in the rear–just like the two-legged sort.

I’ll be sure to pass the message along to her. Right now she’s dancing in my show (yes I gave her a cameo appearance).

Cameo appearance in the show…it rocks to have a mom in the theater world!
Sarah might be blessed with your talent for writing! Looking forward to seeing more from her in future posts.

Desmond cooperates and does what he’s told,
Doesn’t tease like brothers do and never grows old.
Thanks for sharing Sarah’s poetry.

Sarah said “Tell him that he did a good poem too.”
Thanks for the comment, it made her day.

You tell Miss Sarah she is a superstar (and brothers really do have a way of stinking until you’re older!) Love this

I will indeed pass the message on. I know brothers can stink, but she doesn’t even have one.

So sweet! This is the best Guest Blog ever!
My brothers had their ups and downs ~ at times, I would have preferred Desmond.
Lisa, thanks for your comment on SLTW. Cheers!

I love the poem ! Great job Sarah !
My daugther Emma (7) would probably share Sarah’s feelings about brothers. Emma has 3 older brothers and often says she needs a sister to make life more fair … but alas, that ship has sailed!

LOL, but Sarah is an only child, so I’m still not sure where she got that from.
